The Start of Something New..

O
On the left is my family. This picture was taken before we went to the National Institute Of Health in January.

I would never think of myself as a blogger, but they say getting you feelings out can really help.

I would really like this to reach people going through similar rough patches in their lives and have the feeling we all get, that there is no way out. Everyday I seem to work hard, but never seem to even break even. My families' lives our surrounded by continuing questions and a never ending plague of battle.

The purpose of this blog is to give others hope and maybe give people an idea of where to go and how to get help if an illness strikes your family.

Health is never thought of until there is a problem.

We all put on the Mom 'happy face' and act like it doesn't bother us. Strong mothers for generations have taught us to do so, but taking care of you means you can take care of your family.

I am a 28 year old female, married and have and 19mo old beautiful little girl. My husband is a 6'0" tall 130lbs man who gets lucky to have two weeks a month out of his wheelchair. He has a movement disorder that came on slowly as when we were engaged. It has continued to get worse no matter what route we are told to take medically. We have spent all our savings, accrued a mass amount of debt, and used my husbands generous Mother to help us both emotionally and financially.

My blog will mostly consist of medical links to help and care. As well as things to do to keep your family happy during what can be a very unhappy time. Life is what you make it. Carpe Diem!

As of now, we are awaiting a second trip to the National Institute of Health. Which has been really what gave us hope the last few months.

In California we see Dr. Stephanie Lessig of UCSD and Dr. Mitchell Brin of UCI.

We have been fighting this battle for over three years now. Social security has been a nightmare.

The one amazing thing out of all this is our amazing daughter.
